Please note that this one day event is occurring on a Saturday. It is possible to ship corals into the area with a UPS or Fed Ex saturday delivery. Vendors should note however that it has become just about impossible to insure live coral shipments with Federal Express or UPS. It is against Federal Express policy to ship live coral. UPS will ship perishables, but that shipping policy requires written approval. So we do not recommend using those services. Alternatively air cargo could be utilized overnight into the Portland airport, but vendors need to check whether their airlines cargo facility will be open on saturday morning. The Coral Farmers Market company is also working on an alternative Coral Express 2 day shipping service for getting corals from California to this Portland Oregon event. That shipping service would place transported corals under light for both of the travelling nights. Our coral vendors located within Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Idaho will probably not need to transport their corals overnight.
